In the Village of Andrew, Alberta, backyard hens & livestock rules are set by Village of Andrew Bylaw No. 2026-006 – Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw and 1 other bylaw, verified 2026-09-27. Max hens: 5 chickens. Setback: one and one half (1 1/2) meters from the nearest property. Livestock rule: No animals other than domestic pets shall be allowed in Residential Districts.
