In the Town of High Level, Alberta, dogs & animal control rules are set by Responsible Animal Ownership Bylaw 1032-23, verified 2026-09-27. Fines: fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) and not less than the specified penalty provided in Schedule A. A licence is required. Leash rule: No Owner shall permit a dog to be unleashed while not on the property of the Owner unless permitted in an Off Leash area.
