## BY-LAW NO. 5/83
A BY-LAW OF THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF ISLAND LAKE SOUTH, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, TO PROVIDE FOR THE MAXIMUM RATE OF SPEED OF VEHICLES WITHIN THE SUMMER VILLAGE.
UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF and pursuant to the provisions of the Highway Traffic Act, R.S.A. 1980, and amendments thereto, the Council of the Summer Village of Island Lake enact as follows:
1. That the maximum rate of speed for any vehicle operated within the Summer Village shall be 40 kilometers per hour.
2. That the Council authorize the erection of Highway signs indicating the maximum speed allowed under Section (1).
3. This by-laws comes into effect upon the date of its final passing.
READ a first time this 21st day of January, 1983.
