Your application may require supporting documents such as a lot plan, scaled drawings, and in some cases an acceptable Real Property Report. Processing time can take up to 40 days depending on the application and completeness of materials. ### Step 1 Contact the Development Officer first to confirm requirements. ### Step 2 Prepare documents: lot plan, drawings, and any required reports. ### Step 3 Submit your application and fee for review. ### Step 4 Review period (may take up to 40 days based on completeness and type). ### Step 5 Decision issued: approved, approved with conditions, or refused. ### Step 6 If needed, submit an appeal using the Development Appeal Form. **Safety Codes Permits:** Building, electrical, gas, and plumbing permits are handled through safety codes agencies.
