In the City of Kamloops, British Columbia, backyard hens & livestock rules are set by Animal Control Bylaw No. 34-11 (Consolidated), verified 2026-08-28. Max hens: Minimum two (2) hens to a maximum of five (5) hens. Livestock rule: No person shall keep or harbour any farm animal unless parcel has an area of not less than 0.4047 ha (one acre).
