P a g e | 1-1 Fireworks By-Law, No. 15 Municipality of the District of Argyle MUNICIPALITY OF THE DISTRICT OF ARGYLE BY-LAW #15 FIREWORKS 1. a) No person, persons, or corporate body shall buy, sell, keep, set off or use squibs and other fireworks in the Municipality of the District of Argyle without first obtaining written permission from the Municipal Clerk at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the event occurring. b) The written permission shall be issued in the form of a permit. c) Any person, persons, or corporate body who contravenes or fails to comply with the By-Law shall be liable on conviction to a penalty of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) and in default of payment to imprisonment for a period of not exceeding ten (10) days.
