Policy 102 — Public Disclosure of Grants to Organizations

1.0 Purpose In accordance with Section 65(C) of the Municipal Government Act, the Purpose of the Public Disclosure of Grants Policy is to ensure that the Town of Bridgewater disclose to the public a listing of grant recipients and their awarded amounts. 2.0 Disclosure Requirements: The Town of Bridgewater shall disclose to the publc a list of recipients of grants in accordance with the following: a) The list shall be dislosed upon completion of the fiscal year in which the grant was awarded, but no later than 60 days after the end of the fiscal year. b) The list shall contain the name of the group/organization and the monetary amount, and c) The list shall be placed: - on the Town's website and its other social media sites; and - in the next printing of the Town's newsletter.
