Page 1 of 1 TOWN OF BRIDGEWATER TRAILING CROSSING POLICY Policy No. 59 Approved: June 14, 1999 Resolution No.: 99-190 It shall be the policy of Council that: 1. Land owners may enter into a license for the purposes of a trail crossing. 2. The license agreement shall apply to the entire parcel of land, as described by civic number and property identification number. 3. The license shall contain statements respecting: passage, limitations to licensee, dam- age, blockage, and a clause to indemnify and save harmless the Town, termination and non-transferable. 4. The license may be executed by the Recreation Director or the Town Engineer. 5. A copy of the signed license shall be forwarded to the Planning Department; Parks, Recreation and Culture Department; and the Engineering Department; and recorded in the Town's safe.
