CAPEBRETONREGIONALMUNICIPALITY BylawS6 BARBEDWIREFENCES 1. Noperson shallerect barbed wirefencing withintheCapeBreton Regional Municipality unless foragricultural orsecurity reasons. 2. Barbed wirefencing erected forsecurity reasons shallbeaffixedtostandard fencing and located aminimum ofsevenfeetabove thesurrounding grade. 3. Notwithstanding Clause # 1, innoinstance shallbarbed wirefencing beerected, adjacent to orabutting on, asidewalk, public thoroughfare oranyotherformofpublicway. 4. AnyBylaworanyprovision thereof passed andapproved byanyformer Municipality within theboundaries oftheCounty ofCapeBreton priortoJuly31, 1995which conflicts withor actscontrary totheprovisions ofthisBylaw arehereby repealed withthisBylaw becoming lawandanyother provision suchBylaws arehereby ratified andconfirmed insofar asthey arenotinconflict withthisBylaw. PASSED AND ADOPTED byamajority ofthewholeCouncil atadulycalled meeting ofthe CapeBreton Regional Municipal Council heldonthe19thdayofDecember 1995.
