MUNICIPALITY OF THE COUNTY OF INVERNESS RE: CONFERENCE A1TENDANCE FEDERATION OF CANADIAN MUNICIPALITIES PREAMBLE: PURPOSE: POLICY: The Annual Conference of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities' is nationally recognized as a valuable opportunity for information sharing and networking with elected officials from across Canada The Conference is held each spring in various cities in Canada To provide a procedure, under which the Municipality of the County of Inverness will be properly represented at this conference, and to allow a fair schedule for attendance by the Warden, Council members and the Chief Administrative Officer. I. The Warden , the Council, and the Chief Administrative Officer will be given the opportunity, and will be encouraged, to attend the annual conference of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities each year. 2. The Municipality 01211 budget annually sufficient finds to provide for the attendance at the annual Federation of Canadian Municipalities annual conference as outlined in Section I above.
