COMMUNITY GRANTS

This policy is entitled the "Community Grants Policy"
For the purposes of this policy "Community Grant" means an amount specified by Council by resolution.
"Community Organizations" means any charitable, nursing, medical, athletic, educational, environmental, cultural or social organization within the Town pursuant to Section 65 (au) (v) of the Municipal Government Act.
"Council" means the elected Council of the Town of Lockeport
Annually, Council may make community grants to community organizations upon the completion of the attached application form.
Funds not expended annually under this Policy will not be accumulated from year to year.
Community organizations must apply for community grants in writing completing the attached application form and submitting it to the Town Clerk/Treasurer no later than April 30 of each
