Proclamation Policy
Title:
1. This Policy is entitled the "Proclamation Policy"
Interpretation
2. Due to the large number of requests to proclaim proclamations as well as the additional
administrative time that is required of staff, it is the intention of this policy to discontinue outside
requests for proclamations.
3. Proclamations can still be brought forward by individual council members, but they must be
approved by a majority of council.

Date of notice to Council Members of Intent to Consider [7 Day minimum]: May 26, 2008
Date of Passage of Current Policy: June 2, 2008
I certify that this Proclamation Policy was adopted by Council as indicated above.
