Fences up to 1.9 m need no development permit; fences taller than 1.9 m count as structures and must be set back from property lines by half their height. Outdoor at/below-grade pools must be fully enclosed by fences and gates at least 1.5 m high, and nothing over 0.6 m (fence, hedge, tree) is allowed in a corner-lot vision triangle.
