POLICY NAME:
TERM OF OFFICE OF DEPUTY WARDEN

SEPTEMBER 11, 2000
WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act provides that Council shall select one of its
Council members to be the Deputy Warden of the Council;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act provides that prior to the selection of
a Deputy Warden, the Council shall determine, by policy, the term of office of the
Deputy Warden;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Richmond Municipal Council adopt a policy
that the office of Deputy Warden shall be one year.
