Honourable Lloyd Hines Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal 2nd Floor, Johnston Building 1672 Granville Street P.O. Box 186 Halifax, NS B3J 2N2
Dear Minister Hines:
As required by subsection 315(4) of the Municipal Government Act, I am enclosing a copy of the Notice to Close a Town Street which was published in the New Glasgow News on September 20, 2018.
The Town of Trenton proposes to permanently close a portion of Forbes Avenue which is bounded on both sides by lands owned by the Town and which are used as a ballfield on one side and ballfield clubhouse and canteen on the other. We believe the proposed street closure will provide a safer environment for players and fans using the ballfield area.
Please advise if further information or clarification is required at this time.
