In the Township of Armstrong, Ontario, fences & pool enclosures rules are set by Zoning By-law No. 2011-29 (consolidated to October 11, 2017), verified 2026-09-25. Pool enclosure: Fences required around all swimming pools in compliance with the Corporation's bylaws regulating swimming pool fences. Sight triangle: Within sight triangle (10.0 m from intersection per s. 3.35), fences exceeding 1.0 m above street elevation prohibited.

In corner-lot sight triangles the by-law prohibits any fence, tree, hedge, bush or other vegetation whose top exceeds 1.0 m above the centreline of the abutting streets. Fences must be provided around all swimming pools in compliance with the Corporation's swimming-pool-fence by-law.
