Can I keep chickens, bees, or livestock on my property?

In the Township of Georgian Bluffs, Ontario, backyard hens & livestock rules are set by Backyard Poultry By-law No. 2024-040, verified 2026-09-25. Max hens: six (6) hens and/or pullets. Livestock rule: Livestock, other than backyard poultry, shall only be permitted on Agricultural or Rural Zone lots of 0.8 hectares or greater. Setback: not be nearer than 10 metres from a dwelling on an adjacent lot.
