Whereas Section 3 (1) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, chapter 23, as amended, provides that
the council of each municipality is responsible for the enforcement of the Building Code Act, 1992

property owned by the persons responsible for paying the fees and charges, and the amount shall be
collected in the same manner as municipal taxes;
And Whereas Section 398.2(2) of the Municipal Act provides that fees or charges imposed in
accordance with the Bylaw constitutes a debt owed to the municipality for which the Treasurer may
add the outstanding fees or charges, including interest on the unpaid balance, to the tax roll for the
property owned by the persons responsible for paying the fees and charges, and the amount shall be
collected in the same manner as municipal taxes;

This bylaw may be cited as the" Building Bylaw".
1. Definitions:

authorized in written form by the owner to apply for a permit on the owner's behalf

g) No permit shall be issued until the fees are paid in full.
3.3 Sewage System Permit:
In addition to the requirements of subsection (2) above, every application for a new or replacement
Sewage System Permit shall contain the following completed municipal forms:

part of a building for which the application is made;
d) plans and specifications showing the current and proposed occupancy of all parts of the building,
and which contains sufficient information to establish compliance with the requirements of the
Building Code including floor plans, details of wall, ceiling and roof assemblies identifying required fire
resistance ratings and load bearing capacities; and
