NO. 2025 - 124
Being a By-law to Establish 2026 Rates and Fees for
Services Performed by the Municipality of Kincardine
Whereas Section 391 (1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, authorizes
municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on persons,
(a) for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it;
(b) for costs payable by it for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of
any other municipality or any local board; and
(c) for the use of its property including property under its control.
Whereas Municipal Councils have the authority to establish rates and fees under various
acts; now therefore be it
Resolved that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine Enacts as
follows:
That the Council of the Municipality of Kincardine hereby establishes the rates and
fees for services described in Schedules A to O attached hereto and forming part of
this By-law.
That all other By-laws inconsistent with this By-law, are hereby repealed.
That this By-law shall come into full force and effect January 1st, 2026.
That this By-law may be cited as the "2026 Rates and Fees By-law".

Being a By-law to Amend By-law No. 2025 - 124; Being a By-law to Establish 2026
Rates and Fees for Services Performed by the Municipality of Kincardine
Whereas Section 391 (1) of the Municipal Act 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended, authorizes
municipalities to pass by-laws imposing fees or charges on persons,
(a) for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of it;
(b) for costs payable by it for services or activities provided or done by or on behalf of
any other municipality or any local board; and
(c) for the use of its property including property under its control.
Whereas Municipal Councils have the authority to establish rates and fees under various
acts; and
Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine passed By-law
2025 - 124 on the 24th day of September, 2025 to establish rates and fees for services
performed by the Municipality of Kincardine; and Council deems it necessary to amend
Schedule C to align with the Zoning By-law, update payment in lieu of parking rates, updates
to the Consent fee and joint applications, and for the removal of the Consent application
deposit; and Schedule K to reflect revisions made to Development Charges fees, in
accordance with the most recent twelve month change in the Statistics Canada Quarterly,
Construction Price Statistics, as per the Development Charges By-law 2021-114; now
therefore be it
Resolved that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine Enacts as
follows:
That Schedule C of the Municipality of Kincardine 2025 Rates and Fees By-law No.
2025 - 124, is hereby amended with the additional fees as outlined on the attached
Schedule 'A'
That Schedule K of the Municipality of Kincardine 2025 Rates and Fees By-law No.
2025 - 124, is hereby amended with the additional fees as outlined on the attached
Schedule 'B'
That this By-law shall come into full force and effect January 1st, 2026.
That this By-law may be cited as the "2026 Rates and Fee Amendment (1) By-law".
