Bylaw 15-2018 A BYLAW CONCERNING THE ERECTION OF HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SIGNS The Council pf the Rural Municipality of Britannia No. 502 in the Province of Saskatchewan enacts as follows: 1. In this Bylaw the expression "road' means any public highway within the municipality as defined in The Highways & Transportation Act, 1997 other than a Provincial Highway as designated pursuant to such Act. 2. "Stop" signs shall be erected at the intersection of roadways at the following locations: LOCATION OF SIDE OF DIRECTION FROM FACING TRAFFIC INTERSECTION ROAD INTERSECTION FROM_____ SE 06-52-26-3 South West East SE 05-52-26-3 North East West 3. "Trucks Turning" signs shall be erected at the intersection of roadways at the following locations: LOCATION OF SIDE OF DIRECTION FROM FACING TRAFFIC INTERSECTION ROAD INTERSECTION FROM_____ NW 23-50-27-3 South West East SE 26-50-27-3 North East West 4. All signs erected pursuant to Section 2 hereof shall be erected not less than two metres and not more than fifteen metres preferably four metres from the near edge of the intersected roadway. 5. The provisions of The Highways & Transportation Act, 1997 shall apply, wherever applicable, to every sign erected pursuant to Section 2. 6. No person shall alter, damage, remove, deface, knock down or tamper with i. any sign erected pursuant to this Bylaw. 7. Any person who violates any provision of this Bylaw shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to the penalties in the General Penalty Bylaw of the municipality. ____________________________ Reeve SEAL _____________________________ Administrator
