## RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CRAIK NO. 222 BYLAW NO. 2017-11
A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH PRIMARY WEIGHTS WITHIN THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CRAIK NO. 222 BOUNDARIES AND TO REGULATE SPEED FOR PRIMARY WEIGHTS.
The Council of the Rural Municipality of Craik No. 222 in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
## 1. Definitions:
- (a) "municipal road" means a public highway or municipally owned roadway that is under the direction, management and control of the municipality.
- (b) "public highway" means a road allowance or a road, street or lane vested in or owned by the province including erected on or in connection with the public highway.
- (c) "motor vehicle" shall have the meaning ascribed to it by The Highway Traffic Act.
- (d) "municipality" means the Rural Municipality of Craik No. 222.
2. The municipality shall change the designation of secondary weights to primary weights to all municipal roads and public highways within the boundaries of the municipality.
3. No personal shall operate a motor vehicle at primary weight at a greater speed that 60 kilometers per hour on any municipal roads or public highways within the boundaries of the municipality.
4. Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of this bylaw is guilty of an offence and liable on summary convictions to the penalties provided in the general penalty bylaw of the municipality.
5. This bylaw comes into effect upon approval of The Highway Traffic Board.
